We are looking for a proven marketing professional who can reach new markets, and grow platform adoption for Microsoft. As an Audience Marketing Manager at Microsoft, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating marketing strategy around various Microsoft technologies for developers, startups and students while executing creative marketing campaigns to drive satisfaction, adoption of our platform, and amplifying market impact to motivate others.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

•Deep knowledge about the audience, providing customer and market insights into the organization
•Create an audience marketing plan that includes identifying new opportunities and gaps to be addressed, drives recommendations for the best marketing mix and investments, and increases MS Platform adoption and satisfaction
•Effective use of PR and the proper engagement level with Marketing Resources at sub level (M&O, CMO, MSC, etc.)
•Orchestrate the execution of all marketing plans (AMMs & PMMs) and ensure the right governance model, visibility and accountability is in place across the organization (inside and outside of DPE)
•Build, foster and maintain healthy relationship with Technical Evangelist, Partner and Tools team to have their support on the marketing plan execution and leverage our relationship with Audiences and BDMs.
•Demonstrate creative and analytical thinking skills to contribute with the success of the team
•Execute on broad events & online/social media campaigns to drive scale and successful ROI on our marketing investments.
•Engage technical communities, Startups to and developers to grow platform adoption and build relationships with key influencers

Qualifications/ Requirements:

•Have completed or on track to complete a fulltime MBA program (Graduation in Feb.2014 or Aug.2014)
•3~7 years of Business Development/marketing experience
•Work Experience in the software industry with particular focus on Startup or developers Communities. Owning or working in a Startup and/or in the Startup Incubation space would be a plus
•Proven track record of delivering tangible business impact, forecast accuracy and operational excellence
•Deep understanding of competitive landscape and technology choices for developers and IT professionals (Preferred)
•Creative and detail-oriented with outstanding interpersonal skills, communication skills and collaborative work-style
•Passion for technology and tenacity for success
•Good communications skill both in Korean/English
