9. Copy of Statement of Bank Account （ $13000 including tuition fee）

▶ Overseas Students (D-2) who are preparing for their masters thesis/dissertation

○ Qualifcation
who obtain their Master’s/Doctor’s degree but have to remain in the country due to
unavoidable matters such as thesis preparations and others.

○ Required Documents
1. Original Passport
2. Alien Registration Card
3. Transaction fee of 60 000 won
4. Application Form
5. Recommendation Letter of the Adviser (stating the process of thesis guidance,
evaluation schedule, and other related matters)
※ A Certificate of Completion (or a document of the schedule of completion) is needed for Chinese nationals

Report on the change of place of sojourn

○ When a registered foreigner decides to change the place of his/her sojourn, he/she must report
the change of address to the local immigration office or city/gun/office of his/her new
residence within 14 days from the day of moving.
